Job Title: Grants and Operations Manager – (EXEMPT)
Broad Description: Provides support for agency operations, grants and programs.
Manage all aspects related to the receipt of public funding budget oversight and reporting requirements, etc.
Ensure that all grant-funded programs are in compliance with internal policies and external funder requirements, including financial policy, program review, contract monitoring and performance reporting requirements.
Maintain financial records to ensure compliance with funders’ requirements as well as organizational and program budgets.
Monitor HR related to grant tracking and compliance including staff timesheets.
Work with agency contract bookkeeper to assure expenses are appropriately assigned to funding sources.
Maintains office systems such as computers, phone, etc., for entire agency.
Provides administrative support including managing donor database, staff reports, in-office administration, annual report, agency newsletter and coordinate preparation of annual audit.
Attend applicable training to remain current with evolving best practices.
Communicate effectively and has good interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to maintain good working relationships and work within a team with a variety of people and groups.
Accepts other assignments as required.
Communicates ContactLifeline’s mission, purpose and general contact information to the public to build awareness of the agency and its programs and services.
Necessary Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated proficiency with computers and software programs (QuickBooks, Microsoft products, i.e., Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher). Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment and maintain cooperative relationships with a diverse group of individuals, organizations and government agencies. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Education/Training/Experience: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with at least two years experience in office management. Experience with nonprofit organizations desirable.
